Take it From the Expert   James Potter sat sprawled under a big tree in the Transfiguration Courtyard. He was looking dolefully over at Lily Evans, having been turned down- again. He heaved a great sigh, when suddenly-
   "Ah, quit moping, won't you, mate?"
   A voice sounded from above James' head, and he looked up quickly to see Sirius Black smirking at him from a high up branch. James yelped as Sirius jumped down, showering him with twigs.
   "Nice knowing I have privacy," said James ruefully, rubbing a spot on his head where a particularly large twig had hit him.

I was bored and I'd finished the work I'd set for myself to do tonight (well it still isn't enough if I mean to finish all of it), so I decided to draw.
And then, because I am a Ravenclaw and I am very wise, I set myself the impossible task of trying (once again) to draw a real human being.
In this case, a perfect human being with no flaws. (Yay for tautologies.)

I'm actually weirdly proud of this. I basically suck at art in general, especially in drawing people, so I think it actually came out OK.
It does look much better in real life, though. For some reason, when I scanned it, it just sort of... died a bit. ~~oh my gosh that eye is just horrible~~

I hope you like it, please leave a comment (but preferably not a terribly rude self-esteem destroying one, if I'm being honest!) and I will most likely be uploading more art in the future if my maths homework doesn't devour me or something.
(That actually goes without saying, I think, but I needed an ending for that sentence XD)

I think that you did a great job! You've actually inspired me to pick up the pencil. I've been saying for years that I want to try/perfect my drawing, but I've never been happy with the results (which is why there are no drawings in my gallery).

I know the feeling, I actually draw a LOT but I'm so rarely okay with what I draw- sometimes it's just so horrendous that u never want to see it again. Occasionally I think it's OK.
